This zine/artist book tracks the oblique events, background noises and minutiae of our everyday lives. To reflect the fragility of its subject matter such as moths, gossamer and aged shōji doors, I used extremely thin washi such that not only do the images become porous and translucent to overlay each other, but the book itself feels almost unbearably delicate to the touch. The size of each page increases with each spread, scaffolding the pages in such a way that every edge is visible from the very beginning, hinting at the gradual and measured unfolding of the smallest registers of motion.
